I love that the 2017 is still available on the market — the vintage wasn’t considered remarkable, but the chance to pick up a bottle already aged eight years and ready to drink is a welcome bonus. In the glass, it shows dried cranberry, red plum, pencil shavings, and dried leaves, all interwoven in a classic, earth-driven Bordeaux style.
