Taste: floral aromas of white fruit (apple and pear) predominate with a background of almond, fennel and ripe lemon. On palate the wine has notes of ripe white fruit with some salinity. Good acidity and a lingering finish.

Vibes With: asparagus or salads, anything deep fried, seafood, shellfish, vegetable dishes or a simple cheese plate.

Familia Pujol-Busquets 

A family run winery headed by husband and wife Josep Maria Pujol-Busquets and Christina Guillen, and assisted by their daughters Georgina and Mireia. The estate is just two kilometres away from the Mediterranean Sea and the vineyards are planted on slopes and terraces between 100 and 250m above sea level. The vines are grown on Sauló soil which is one of the most important elements that define the wines from Alta Alella: an acidic white granite-based sandy soil with low limestone content, low organic matter and good natural water drainage.

The estate has always practices certified organic farming techniques, creating a well-balanced ecosystem that respects the native flora and fauna.

The Pujol-Busquets family continues its pursuit of offerings natural wines elaborated with low intervention and without added sulfites.

Additional Information: Xarel·lo also known as Xarello is a white grape variety of Spanish origin specially grown in Catalonia. It is a cross between Brustiano faux and 'Gibi', a synonym for the Spanish Hebén grape. With Macabeo and Parellada, Xarel·lo is one of the three traditional varieties used to make the sparkling wine cava.
