La Gritona Tequila Reposado Jalisco, Mexico (375ml)

From Valle de Guadalupe Jalisco La Gritona is a woman owned and operated distillery led by Melly Barajas and her staff of women. Melly's process uses Blue Weber agave that has a matured from 8-10 years before harvesting, the agave is then steamed for 24 hours before being crushed then fermented for 8-12 days then distilled twice. The blanco tequlia collected is then and matured in Tennessee and Texas whiskey barrels for 8 months before bottling. The result is a herbaceous and vegetal tequlia with a unique round body.
