Expert tasting note: "The wine is a deep, dark, but not opaque purple ruby color. Very vivid cassis aromas have a hint of leafiness & earthy notes. On the palate a leafy hint overlays concentrated cassis & elderberry fruit. The mid palate as a crunchy, mouthwatering freshness, with fine, graphite-smooth tannins. The wine is medium to full-bodied with alcohol adding a little richness. Juicy cassis fruit persists on a long, structured finish."
