About the Tequila: Every small batch of Octavio Tequila begins with the exceptionally pure, spring water of the Volcano of Tequila. After traveling from the top of the volcano to 70 meters beneath its surface, the water is enriched with a perfect balance of minerals that contribute to our signature-tasting tequilas. It’s then combined with agave plants from fields in the Trans-Mexican Volcanic belt in Tequila, Jalisco. Nurtured by semi-arid semi-humid soil, ideal climate conditions, and the perfect altitude, these plants, once paired with naturally fermented Brazilian yeasts, create our rich, refined taste.
Destileria Leyros produces Octavio Tequila, an ultra-premium, small-batch tequila made with 100% Blue Webber agave at the Volcán de Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico. While there isn't a specific product called "Octavio Silver" listed, Octavio's production focuses on sustainable practices and a high-quality, pure product. The brand's high-end positioning and focus on tradition, coupled with innovative, environmentally-friendly methods

About the Producer: Enrique Legorreta Was a brilliant bussines man, dedicated to the tequila Industry and founder of “Destileria Leyros” Company in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. An entrepreneur and visionary man, together with his wife, Silvia Mar Ochoa, he fulfilled many of his dreams. He dream of creating a family owned tequila, Octavio Tequila, began when a father and son travelled to a small fishing town called Los Barriles on the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, Mexico. The town is a place with prime weather and a perfect combination of having family owned infrastructure while still being remote and still. Los Barriles offers a small town atmosphere with a large sense of community with beautiful strolls down the pristine beaches, fantastic fishing, and ATV riding. While relaxing at an isolated palapa bar on the beach, restricted to only those that arrive on ATVs, bikes, or foot, the idea of Octavio Tequila arose. While sitting at that tiny palapa bar, sipping tequila, conversing with a local elderly gentleman tending the bar— in the little Spanish they both knew — the thought of creating a tequila company, which seemed intangible then, began to spur. The gentle, pure, giving nature of that bartender is what they remembered most. The bartenders name, you might ask? Octavio.
