Taste: Deep violet red with highlights in the same tone. Brilliant and agile in the glass. Fruit forward with earthy notes. Displays aromas of black and red fruits such as plums, black cherries, blueberries and blackberries. Such aromas are followed by notes of violets, aromatic herbs, thyme and rosemary, with balsamic hints that define the character and complexity of High altitude, cool climate Malbecs. Pleasant mouthfeel with a very tasty and refreshing mid-palate and vibrant acidity. Medium-bodied, with juicy tannins that provide strength and a long finish. Fruity and spicy aftertaste with earthy notes. A red that is true to its origin.

About the Wine: Harvest end of march, fermented for 14 days at max temp of 25º Celsius. 8 months in stainless stell tank, 8 months of bottle aging. No oak with Natural yeast. Single Vineyard: Parcel 6 Finca El Cepillo, Valle de Uco (single vineyard, organic and biodinamic parcel wine).
About the Producer: Our vineyards are in Agrelo and Altamira, Mendoza, where the excellent climate and the quality of the soils blend to provide the optimum grape-producing conditions. Escorihuela, a prominent Argentine wine producer, is owned by a winegrower named Nicolas Catena. He acquired the winery in 1993 and has made significant investments to restore it to its position as a leading Argentinian winery. The brand was originally founded by Miguel Escorihuel Gascón in 1884, and his family continued to own and operate the winery until 1993.
