About the Wine: Seven day cold soak, with an additional 18 days of skin contact, fermented in stainless steel; aged in French oak 30% new oak; aged 10 months
About the producer: In 2007, sommelier André Mack founded Maison Noir. Originally a garage winery of sorts, Maison Noir wines are now available nationwide, from San Antionio where André began his career in wine, to New York City where he worked as the head sommelier at Per Se.
Garage Wines (Micro-Negociant) focusing on specific terroirs in Oregon by sourcing the best fruit possible from the Willamette Valley region of Oregon to produce wines which show the individuality of their respected sites.
They source their fruit from several of the finest vineyards in the Willamette Valley, it is this combination of grapes from a variety of appellations that creates a wine that is broad and complex with many layers.
