Tste: The bouquet is dominated by floral notes. Fruits like watermelon, wild strawberry, and lychee are also present. There is an overarching minerality to the nose. The flavors mimic the floral bouquet with just a hint of spice on the tongue. Al Posto dei Fiori is refreshing and dry rosé.

Vibes with: excellent with food such as salmon, shrimp, roast chicken and pasta.

Le Pianelle is a small estate based in the Bramaterra region. The hill where their vineyards are planted was famous a century ago for the quality of the wine grown there, and it will be famous again soon. The soils here, marine and volcanic sands ranging in color from yellow-orange to brown, are entirely different from those of the Barolo and Barbaresco areas. These soils produce Nebbiolo that is less tannic, lower in alcohol, higher in acidity, and are also generally more drinkable when young as well.
