Transcontinental Rum Line reflects the great diversity in rum with this excellent series highlighting the regional differences in raw materials and distillation processes used to produce world class rum. The Barbados 2015 is beautiful example of Barbados Rum, using molasses and distilled in both Pot and Coffey stills the rum is then aged in Ex-Bourbon casks for 5 years at the distillery and then a additional year in Europe where it is bottled at 55% ABV. The rum has a excellent nose of oak,geranium and tropical fruit, the body is rounded and bold with  vanilla, pear and tobacco on the palate subtle star anise and clove on the finish.
