Made from 100% Glera (formerly known as Prosecco) sourced from select vineyards around the hills of Conegliano.

Founded in 1969, Zardetto has set the benchmark style for Italian Prosecco enjoyed all over the world. With family roots planted in the heart of the Prosecco region between Conegliano and Valdobiadene, the Zardetto family was one of the first to export Prosecco to the United States, allowing them to establish their name early on the world stage. Today, Zardetto Prosecco is enjoyed from New York to Hong Kong, continuing the long and storied tradition of Zardetto for wine lovers around the world.

Zardetto’s home production area, Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, located in the Northeastern corner of Italy, is steeped in hundreds of years of tradition. In 2009, after being awarded DOCG status, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the appellation produces some of the region’s most sought-after wines. From here, the Glera variety is used to produce classic wines rich in character.

The Zardetto philosophy is steeped in the potential of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills, aiming to make sparkling Prosecco that truly emphasizes the characteristics of the beloved land. This requires a consistently high level of quality, from exploring new soils in search of unique characteristics, to a significant investment in technology.

Zardetto’s new state-of the-art winery was the first in the region to employ a quality control sorting system, allowing the winery to select the best grapes from the highest quality vineyards in the Prosecco region and eliminate the chances of impurities. To create Zardetto’s sparkling Prosecco, secondary fermentation occurs in large, pressurized tanks called autoclaves over a period of nearly 40 days (“The Italian Method”). This results in the wine’s characteristic floral and fruity profile. Once secondary fermentation is complete, the Prosecco is filtered and bottled.
