(1842 F1-B7) Domaine Humbert Freres Lavaut Saint-Jacques Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, France 2021 (750ml)

The Humbert brothers make just a single barrel of wine from their 0.05ha parcel of Lavaux-St-Jacques, so this is comparatively hard to find. All I can say, is that it's worth the effort, as it's an elegant, racy, refined example of this wonderful Premier Cru, with abundant rose petal perfume, well-integrated new wood, some clove spice from 20% whole clusters and a long, palate-cleansing finish.
