Expert tasting note: (2000 vintage) "Deep, dark, virtually opaque ruby-red. Fruit aromas are quite closed, restrained & cedary. Plummy fruit on the palate is lifted by lovely fresh acidity. The plentiful tannins are very supple. Lovely cedary notes are very well-married with the fruit. Flavors last well & the wine is beautifully balanced."
