The wine is made with 100% Carmenere grapes from the 0.8-hectare Viñedo El Escorial, planted in 2003 on alluvial and colluvial soils with very low fertility in the Huelquén zone of Maipo Valley, Chile. It's aged for a year in cement eggs with no oak contact
