The heat on the palate is fierce, but once it simmers down (water is your best friend here), some more unusual flavors pick up, among them pumpernickel, salt-and-vinegar chips, and sweet clementine. The finish, while drying and a tad short, is enjoyable; rye fans should find plenty to love here, but it’s certainly not for everyone" -Whisky Advocate
