Appearance: Caramel cream/light tan colored with only the slightest separation of ingredients pouring ( not an easy feat to keep a cream liqueur so well homogenized) on swirling the tan colored liquid forms a paler swirl line then forms some legs.
First Impression: Dairy cream, egg,vanilla, bourbon,cinnamon, allspice, touch of nutmeg,caramel/molasses notes over all a nicely rich and enticingly spicy cream.
Taste: 100% Trousseau presenting a beautiful light ruby hue in the glass. Deep and wild in style with crushed flower petals, forest berries, spiced plum, and garrigue. Present but not overbearing tannins. An iron fist in a velvet glove.
The Blanc 55% offers even more cocktailing versatility with its ability to stand up to increased dilution. Exuberant aromas of lime skin, clover honey, Greek yogurt, and orange flower water lead to a round palate of lime oil and apricot.
