Mal Bien showcases small mezcal and agave spirits producers throughout Mexico, here they highlight 1st generation Mezcalero Isidro Rodriguez Montoya from Rio de Parras, Michoacán. Isidro started distilling at the age of 19, now in his 50's he built his own stills in 2015 after many years producing his spirits with the village's communal still. This Destilado de Agave (mezcal) has aromatic notes of lime zest, roasted pineapple and wet stone. On the palate you have hints of freshly smashed cucumber,peppercorns and grilled honey dew with a clean mineraly finish make this selection a world class Agave Spirit (mezcal)
