Yangchon Brewery, Chungju Rice wine
Yangchon Brewery has been in operation since 1920 and considered one oldest operating breweries in Korea.
The brewery uses rice that is farmed without the use of herbicides instead using snails to those pesky weeds at bay. Yangchon's Chungju is has a amber hue with a fragrant savory nose of mushroom, ripe cheese and doenjang/miso with a touch of sweetness that gives a rounded texture.
